The food and service were excellent. My daughter enjoyed the ramen and I loved the bento box.

I like to say that I was born to eat ramen. I grew up on delicious ramen as a child, when my mother always took me to her local ramen shop in Japan. Ramen was my favorite food as a child and still is. In the US, especially in Denver, ramen is a new phenomenon and currently the IT food item, but unfortunately with that comes some kinks, where the ramen tastes nothing like it's suppose to be, or adding ingredients and toppings that are unnecessary and bastardized the entire dish. I've been to Genji two times, and for what it is, it is a decent ramen. The noodles are actual ramen noodles and no overcooked, the broth( Spicy miso) wasn't too oily and too rich, it had a good balance of spice and I can taste the miso as well. The Aji tamago was delightful too, yolk was creamy and tasty. The overall presentation of the dish was great and they did not add stupid toppings on there that would have taken away from the ramen. I usually don't even step into a Whole Foods but honestly I would come back here just for the ramen. It's pretty good and cheaper than a lot of ramen spots around the city, so give it a try

If you want to find the best Ramen in Colorado, look no further than this hidden gem in the whole foods market here in Centennial. I used to live in Los Angeles and went to the Tokyo town there a lot, and I have to say that the Ramen noodles here are on par if not better than some of the most famous spots there. Every Wednesday for almost 10 weeks straight, I girlfriend and I have come and ordered the exact same thing. I get the spicy miso Ramen with pork, and she gets the vegetarian ramen in chicken broth with extra spicy stuff. We also share an order of the chicken gyoza with spicy stuff and get a green tea and a hibiscus tea. The additional condiments of chili powder, white pepper powder, and crispy garlic chips are also crucial to getting the most out of this amazing Ramen experience. I honestly wish more Whole Foods would have this Ramen shop in it, because it is amazing.

I do agree with other reviews that the Ramen bowls are tasty....but ...IMHO... The portion is a bit small and a bit pricey.... $14.00 for a lunch combo....Ramen, 3 Goyaza, and a drink. In true Whole Foods fashion ...good but pricey.

That was a comforting bowl of ramen! Got the vegetarian ramen and it was simple and delicious. Loved the ginger in it and the sesame oil gave it a nice flavor. Also got a veggie bao. It wasn't served with any dipping sauce but really needed one. Got some sauce from the dining area and it really did elevate the flavor. Located at Whole Foods, this place is definitely a nice addition to Southglenn dining scene. Especially as a vegetarian, It's not often that you find vegetarian friendly ramen and bao.

All natural ingredients makes this Whole Foods gem of a restaurant that much better. Being lethargic after eating a bowl of ramen does not happen here! Order your Ramen from the stand, watch them make it in front of you, check out at one of their cashiers up front, and head upstairs to the spacious lounge with glass wall views of the SouthGlenn Mall. In the summer I believe they raise up their garage doors in which it becomes full patio seating. We recommend the Genji Original if you are looking for more of a tonkatsu pork flavor and the spicy miso ramen if you are looking for the basics with the hot chili oil. Enjoy!
